April 2008 - The popularity of the Sunday Buffet at the Norsemen Inn is such that, I am told, there is often a waiting period to be seated. Such was the case for us. Both Hagar's Cafe and the Odin Dining Room were at capacity. We were seated in the restful atmosphere of the dining room after a 15 minute wait.The menu at this facility has the usual types of selections one often finds. The menu does feature both the regular and senior size portions. We both chose the Sunday buffet which is reasonably priced at $12.95. The buffet offered a choice of two soups, many more salad selections than can be sampled in one visit, and with the feature of roast pork and chicken, as well as scalloped potatoes and steaming hot vegetables. The pork was tender and well carved. There certainly was enough variety that a vegetarian could also have a satisfying, well balanced meal.
