December 2007 - This place is a typical Chinese food place. Located in downtown Drayton Valley, it is a small place, decorated sparsely with Chinese symbols and ornaments. In the front is a large fish tank. The staff are very friendly and we were seated right away. The menu has the classics. Ginger Beef, Chicken Fried Rice and Wonton Soup. The menu has a “choose your own combo” side where you could pick two, three or four items for $8.99, $9.99, and $10.99. I had Beef & Broccoli and Chicken Fried Rice. My fiancé had the Ginger Beef and Chicken Fried Rice. The rice was very good, but the Beef & Broccoli was too beefy tasting. The Ginger Beef was a little too spicy as well. The prices are reasonable; our meals were just over $30.00 including a coffee and a pop. The food was alright. It is a quick meal if you are in a hurry. It would be a good place to order out from.
