August 2007 - I had only heard bad reviews about the Ricky's in Lloydminster and only went to the restaurant because the nearest restaurants were full up. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was an expert in customer service. Not only was he really friendly he also knew what all the dishes on the menu where. All the members of my party ordered a drink, myself included. The Bellini was really good and even better was when the waiter toped my drink off for free. The members of our party all ordered very different dishes but they all came out quickly, at the same time and hot. I had a teriyaki chicken stir fry which was presented well and very tasty. The portion sizes where very large but they where more than willing to wrap up the leftovers. My one complaint was that we were seated in a very high traffic area which makes it a little harder to converse with other members of your party. This could be easily avoided by asking for a booth seat. I feel that people who are looking for a quick, reasonable meal would be very satisfied with eating at Ricky's Bar and Grill in Lloydminster.
