November 2007 - The value of this little cafe reaches far beyond the great meals you receive...The support of local non-profit groups, youth intitiatives etc that is given is wonderful and much appreciated.

August 2007 - I am a frequent customer of this great cafe. I was thoroughly disappointed with the service and attitude myself and my guests received. After waiting 1 hr and 20 min. for our 4 sandwiches, we asked the server about the meal. She was rude and told us we could go to the kitchen and see for ourselves what was going on. We then decided to leave and proceeded to pay for our beverages and at that point she told us to "just go". I will not be returning to this cafe anytime soon.

July 2007 - We headed out to the Eco Cafe with great expectations. First, directions to the location were poor and therefore, added to our time. Second, the patio tables and chairs were not clean ... plastic or not ... cleaning products do work on them! The service was slow and lacked enthusiasm. The appetizer was enjoyable ... salmon cakes. The meal ... certainly not to the standards expected ... organic or not. There was not alot of concern when the server noted that I had not eaten my meal. This was the first time in my life that I did not leave a tip ... and did not feel guilty about not doing so.

July 2007 - July 2007 (Month Visited) — "We drove out from Edmonton for what we had been told by a stranger we had met would be a wonderful dinner at the Eco Cafe.
We needed to call on the way out for directions which very poor and required three calls to finally get us to the right location.
The out door tables were dirty with spots of dried food on them (catsup), the service was poor at best and there seemed to be enough servers. The appetizer was good and my meal was OK but not great (didn't hear angels sing as we were told we would), my friend did not eat her meal and this was of no concern of the staff. Hopefully for the Cafe this was a bad day but we will not know because we will not return.

March 2007 - My friends and I had a girls getaway and we ate at the Eco Cafe on Saturday night. The service was wonderful and the choices and meals were excellent. The chef was very accomodating to substitutions. They also carried a great variety of home-made pies.
