February 2007 - We just stopped in Ponoka en route to Edmonton and decided to dine at the A & W. I don't know what it was, but this A & W seemed better than most. It was very clean, the Rootbeer was amazing and was served in the old-fashioned glass mugs with ice chips in the beverage, and the meals were tasty. I got the three piece chicken strip combo, and they weren't greasy and seemed much fresher than usual. If we ever get hungry while driving by Ponoka again, we probably will stop in here.
