| "Convenient motor court hotel" |

June 2008 - This hotel looked very nice on the internet. Upon arriving there, we saw that it was a typical motor court hotel. The front desk agent was inattentive, but did her job and checked us in. As we opened the door, we could smell that our non-smoking room had once been a smoking room. There was a tiny closet of a kitchen in the room. It was decently clean. The one bedroom was a good size and had a double bed and a single bed. The living room had a TV and a pull out couch. Staying in the room was myself and my kid brother and sister, and my friend and her young son. The room was a bit crowded with all our luggage. The beds were alright, defiantly not new, but decent. The shower was a pretty good size and clean. There was a continental breakfast in the main reception area. We were the only people there in the morning eating. It was a very typical breakfast with cereals, muffins, Danishes and juice. The total cost for the room for one night was $104. This hotel was convenient, located just off Highway 2, but I had a very hard time getting used to the odor of the room. We will probably be checking in somewhere else next time we stay in Red Deer.
