March 2008 - The menu at Remington's Grill in the Black Knight Inn offers some great choices, at least they appear to be. I chose the lunch buffet- full meal with soup, salad bar, hot meats and vegetables, and dessert. For $12.50, not including beverage, it is a bargain. The wide variety of salads were fresh, with many topping and dressing choices. Two soups are offered. There were two meat choices- very tender roast beef and roast pork, as well as Shepherd's Pie. I would like to have sampled the maple baked salmon, but it was near the end of the 'brunch time' and there was none left. The mixed vegetables and roast potatoes were hot and fresh. I was mostly impressed with the fact that someone with dietary restrictions could certainly put a great lunch together here. (Probably have to skip the pecan pie, and cheese cakes, but head for the fruit tray instead!) The service was efficient, and the decor was restful, which made for a pleasant eating experience.
