July 2007 - I visited Red Deer Buffet after spending a day lounging at Sylvan Lake. An all you can eat buffet sounded like the right choice after receiving four hours of intense sun. The place was moderately busy and we got seated to our table within seconds of walking in the door. Our server asked us what we would like to drink and she brought it back by the time we had finished serving our first plate of the buffet. The food tasted absolutely great. Everything was fresh, hot, juicy, and full of flavour. The deep fried chicken in particular still has me craving for more to this day. The server refilled our drinks without even asking, so we always had a full cup. The buffet was a big restaurant, and although it was busy, it looked like it could easily handle more customers. The price was also very reasonable, one of the best I’ve seen for an all you can eat buffet. I definitely recommend Red Deer Buffet if you’re in town, and I will most definitely go back next time I’m around.
