April 2008 - I have stayed several times and had no problems. Rooms are clean, service is good, continental breakfast OK. Some rooms might not have internet connection, confirm when booking!

June 2007 - My grandson, daughter and I recently stayed at the Super 8 in Grande Praire, AB. We found it to be very pleasant and well-priced. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. We were in the non-smoking section and couldn't help but notice the obvious difference between the non-smoking section and the smoking section of the motel. If you came into the motel (back entrance), you entered the smoking section. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and that particular area of the motel looked a bit run-down. We had to hold our breath as we walked through this area. The non-smoking area of the motel, on the other hand, appeared newer and well looked after.
The motel had a pleasant breakfast area with fairly adequate seating. The food was good with good choices. On the day we were leaving, we were the first people to enter into this area as I was flying out early, the breakfast area had been set up, but there was no coffee in sight. Ugh! Not a nice way to start your day.
Other areas of the motel, such as the pool area were very nice. The business section was OK, but lacked the use of a computer.
