August 2008 - Being a regular customer, i have been with this company for many years. The staff has always been friendly and have always made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. They have recently renovated their lobby and is really looking modern and clean. The down side is the price increase since the renovations, but kudos to the staff for all they did for me during the renovations.
Also, the rooms could use better TV's and a little more modernizing, but minor things unless its playoff season.

July 2007 - The Grande Prairie Inn is conveniently located right off the highway near the mall and SuperStore. I guess it was once one of the nicer hotels in the city, but now it is a bit rundown. However, it does offer an on-site restaurant, a pub and a swimming pool, so that was convenient. The rooms were pretty standard... nothing too memorable about them. The only annoying things were that the taps of the sink had to be turned several times around before water came out, and the television had a high-pitched squeal. The front desk staff weren't rude, but they weren't amiable. If I'm in Grande Prairie again (highly unlikely), I will probably try out one of the other hotels in the area.
