"Awesome ride"

by Lori (from Edmonton)
August 2008 - Our family had an experience of a lifetime this summer-Steve and Amber were our guides and made our ride one to remember-their knowledge of the area and of the horses was evident on our 1 hr ride-they made it easy for the kids to participate and to enjoy riding. We will definately be back to ride again!

"Rad Ride"
by Dana (from Calgary)
September 2007 - Boundary Ranch is a very beautiful, well-established and well set-up operation. The guides are relaxed and friendly, and the horses are too. I think mine was the only exception! My boyfriend had never ridden before so we went for the short 2-hour ride and he was put on a lovely, stable horse. I have ridden quite a bit in the past, so they put me on Nugget. What a character. Actually I'm kinda glad of the pairing as the constant fight to pull him back (he insisted on walking with his nose in the backside of the horse in front, punctuated by regular nips on the butt) and his desire to be at the front (when I wanted to stay in line with my boyfriend) kept things interesting. Otherwise it could have been a bit like a carousel ride, except for the scenery, which was stunning... majestic mountains, pine filled valleys, and sun-speckled forest trails. The 2-hour ride is great for beginners, the horses know exactly where they are going, and the terrain isn't challenging, although there are a couple of short steep bits to keep things exciting. For me, it was over a bit too soon. I'd be very keen to try one of their day or overnight rides.

"Stunning Views!"
by Mike (from Calgary, AB)
May 2007 - My wife and I recently did the two-hour Ridge Ride. This is a great way to enjoy some gorgeous K-country terrain and stunning views. While those with riding experience will likely find the ride itself a bit boring (no running, river crossings, etc), those with little or no experience will love it -- except for sore legs resulting from an unfamiliar sitting position.

I thought the guides and support staff were very friendly, and everything was well-organized. The overnight tours look great!
