December 2006 - I love the chalets at the Douglas Fir. They are a bit dated but with the fire burning, a glass of wine and the beautiful scenery it really doesn't get any better. I have stayed out here for the past two New Years and both times have been great. A cosy get-away for two!

Thank you for the wonderful comment. In the last 18 months, we have done several improvements to our very popular A-Frame cabins. These include: new high-efficiency forced air furnace, new central air-conditioning, new on demand hot water system, new fridge and stove in the kitchen, new 7" thick pull-out couch. We have already completed new roof shingles on two of our cabins with two more scheduled for this year.

November 2006 - Stayed based on reviews of from other web sites, it was a big mistake. Old units, poor attitude on staff and managers seems to be angry. A new giant indoor playground sure does not make up for old, dirty rooms and poor staff attitude, obviously learnt from the top down from the managers.
