May 2007 - I recently stayed in a two-bedroom unit at the Fire Mountain Lodge. Here's what you can expect:
Highlights:
- New, well-equipped suites with lots of room
- Fully-stocked kitchen with eating bar and dining table
- Washer/dryer
- Easy walk to downtown Canmore
- X-box gaming system in units
- Full-size BBQ on private deck
Needs Improvement:
- No front desk, must walk to a neighbouring hotel for check-in/out
- No pool
- No daily cleaning service, only garbage pick-up and towel delivery
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel -- especially for larger groups.
