September 2007 - We stay at this place each year in Sept becaue they accept dogs and never had a bad experience. Once when we walked into the room we found one of the beds broken adn they had a new one in there within 20 minutes

September 2006 - On the evening of Sept 9/10, 2006 I stayed at the Akai Motel as a late arrival. Within 45 minutes I discovered sheets (bedding) had not been changed from the previous guest's visit! The office was closed early so I could not deal with them immediately. When I discussed this with management in the morning, they refused to provide a refund or find any other way to resolve this issue. I was told it was my responsibility to make sure the bedding was changed! Another guest found their room "barely clean enough". I would definitely never recommend this motel.
