June 2007 - My wife, two toddlers and I recently spent a night at the Lower Lake Campground in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Here's what we thought:
- Nice facility close to the Lower Lakes
- Clean/private sites with plenty of room for tents, trailers etc.
- Wood available for purchase ($6.50/bundle or $20/4 bundles)
- Small playground available for kids
- No showers
- $20/night for tent only (self registration)
Overall, we had a very positive experience, and would choose this campground again. The Interlakes Campground also looked good. I've rated this campground relative to other campgrounds I've stayed at.
