August 2008 - Our family of 5 stayed at the Drumheller Super 8 for 2 days and 2 nghts in one of their kitchenette suites. The room itself was spacious and well kept, and for the price it was well worth it during the height of the tourist season here. As well, our kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide.
The free continental breakfast was by far the best on our trip. With plenty of items to choose from, such as french toast, waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels... and the list goes on. Spectacular!
Our only complaint was the fact that our microwave was not working and we couldn't get anyone to fix it. We were discounted fairly from our rate to compensate for this without issue.

August 2008 - We have just came back from the Drumheller Super 8 Hotel, and found it to be quite nice! It was not harsh looking on the outside as someone has said, it actually was quite decent. Our room was clean and smelled nice upon arrival. We did not get to the pool on this trip, but when we peeked in it looked to be very busy and not that big. The only downfall that this hotel has it its free breakfast. It's not big area at all. Especially if you are travelling with your family. They have limited seating and not a huge array of items to choose from. But then it's FREE! There is a McDonalds just across the street that did just fine for us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

August 2008 - I would like to commend the staff at the Drumheller Super8 for their superior service. They were consistently friendly and the check-in time was fast. I did have two issues though. One was that my two nights were charged in advance to my credit card without my knowledge. I maintain a low credit limit, not needing a higher limit. The unexpected charge to my card caused me to have my card "denied" when making a purchase, because I was over the limit without my knowledge. This was the first time in more than 25 years of owning credit cards that I had my card "denied" and I was embarrassed. I would suggest that if the rooms are to be charged in advance that the customer be privvy to this knowledge. If I had known, I would have made a payment to the credit card company to cover the charges. The other issue that I had was that my room keys were continually malfunctioning. They were not placed near any magnetic strips, so it was an inconvenience to continually go back to the front desk to have my cards reactivated. I am not sure what the remedy would be for this issue. All in all I had a great stay in the Super8 and would return to the hotel the next time I am in Drumheller.

July 2008 - This motel was very clean and offerred many extra's which was nice to see.
They had cookies when we arrived, a small kitchen which we were not expecting, the pool was warm, not too cool and the hot tub was a hot tub-not a luke warm tub. Then there was fresh popcorn, a tasty treat. The breakfast they offer includes a wide variety of options for everyone. Make sure to include all these "extra's" when deciding where to stay in Drumheller. There is plenty to do in Drumheller, we had an awesome time, thank you.

June 2008 - We stayed at the Super 8 Hotel this past weekend. Although it was clean, it is an older building and you get the associated drawbacks with this including the fact that the room had a very "stale" smell when we first went into it. Once we opened the window and ran the a/c for a few hours it did improve - the room was also very small (we had a room with two queen beds) with very little room around the beds to get around.
The continental breakfast was excellent - with good selection of choices and plenty of fresh fruit.

September 2007 - We found the Hotel clean, Staff helpful. Room was large (3 Double Beds) and the Bathroom was very clean. Little things like complimentary popcorn and cookies. Our kids loved the waterslide.There is a free breakfast but I was actually expecting a Continental but they also had make your own Waffles. Whatever batter they used was great!
