December 2007 - clean accommodation, comfortable beds, reasonable rate, friendly staff and we loved the indoor swimming pool with waterslide and hot tub. If you have kids - they will love it!

September 2007 - Went to Lethbridge for a wedding made reservations 1.5 weeks ahead for me and my wife and rooms for two sons.Two rooms on Friday three rooms for Saturday.Friday myself and my wife stayed at friends in Lethbridge.My youngest son at checkin had problems which he eventually ended up calling me and we had to go down to the motel. The problem was about the deposit for the room $100.00. They would not accept his credit card because it was not the one that the room was reserved on.After what I can only say is the rudest treatment we put the deposit on my credit card.My son at this point asked me if he should pay for his room now.I told him that usually he would pay at checkout.After being assured that everything would now be O.K., I left. After I left the owner decided that my son now had to pay and he tracked him down and told him he had to pay now which he reluctantly did. I did not find out about this until the next day. Later that evening when my other son and family arrived they had similar problems that my younger son had.This son is not so easily pushed around and after being told about the credit card situation he told them to forget about the reservation and give him another room which he could use his credit card for the deposit. He eventually got a room but not without having the problems that I was told would not happen.The next day when myself and my wife checked in our room was not ready even though we had made a reservation and also confirmed it the night before when I was down there to assist my youngest son.We had requested early checkin so we could get ready for the wedding.We had asked for noon checkin time and arrived at the motel around 1:30.
this was later than our requested time and also well after the 11:00 checkout time.I would not reccomend this place to anyone not just because of the rude treatment, but also it seems overpriced for the condition of the place. The centre open area with the pool had a very disagreeable odor. Rooms need renovating and the outside stairs are quite dangerous. Younger children would have to be watched while using the stairs.All in all a very unpleasant experience.
