August 2007 - The décor in this place is pure burger joint out of the 50s. Good traditional diner food with big servings and reasonable prices. The service is standard, no complaints but it certainly wasn’t outstanding. I had a mushroom burger with poutine and was very impressed with the cooking, even though it took a while to get the food. However, the best part of the dinner by far was all of the games selection. You could play pool, put some money in the jukebox, or even test your strength on the boxing machine. We went for dinner and ended up staying for hours. The prices were reasonable and they offer supersized beer glasses for those who like a cold one to wash down their meals with. On sunny days, sit on the patio; there’s not much of a view, but there’s lots of room and it’s perfect for summer days. A word of caution about the juke: you can’t hear the music from it unless you sit directly beside it, so don’t waste your money if you’re sitting on the patio.
