July 2008 - The Kensington area is quite charming with several small boutiques worth browsing through. I also enjoy the eclectic vibe and ambiance of the area and how quickly you can walk to downtown from there. If you're not into shopping, Kensington is a great area for people watching. There are many interesting characters in the area!

| "Perfect Lazy Sunday Destination" |

August 2007 - I love strolling to Kensington on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It's a really attractive part of Calgary with historic buildings and lots of cafes from which to people-watch. Other features that draw me to the area are the small festival movie theatre and second-hand bookstore overflowing with books. If you wander past/through the heart of Kensington and continue on up the hill it's well worth it with lots of green grass at the top and a great view of downtown Calgary to admire from one of the park benches.
