| "Great for Home Decorators Who Have Already Eaten" |

November 2007 - Driving through Inglewood one day we noticed all the grand old buildings and interesting-looking shops, so a few days later we were back for a stroll. Walking down the main drag we discovered that it is a street of upscale home decor shops. We popped into a few, just for a look, and they were all filled with lovely things that I coveted for our apartment. Tending toward a modern rustic theme, many hand-crafted items, original artworks and trendy home accessories were the standard offerings. In addition to the home stores we also found a high-end second-hand clothing store, filled with pre-loved labels and eccentric accessories. All our browsing made us hungry and this is where a little disappointment set in.... we managed to find a few intriguing cafes, but on this particular Sunday afternoon at about 3.30 they were closed! Oh well. When I'm richer I'll be back for the funky house stuff.
