| "A Great Find" |

December 2006 - I visited this shop for the first time last night and what a great find! There all kinds of unique gifts that I haven't seen anywhere else--perfect for my Christmas shopping. The owner, Candi, imports gifts from France and some from Italy. Most things are made by artisans and sent directly. And the prices are pretty reasonable for this quality of work, for example, woven scarves for under $40. It's located just before the train bridge heading north on MacLeod Trail (on the same block as Fairly Vanilla) and could easily be missed. As much as I'd like to keep this shop my little secret, I'm telling everyone I know because it is one of the most charming shops I've seen in Calgary in a long time--but because of its location, is largely overlooked. It is definitely worth a visit though, especially if you are looking for something a bit different.
