"My AMAZING Stylist"
by Shauntelle (from Calgary) December 2007 - I have been going to Angles Hair & Aesthetics Calgary at the Signal Hill Centre for the past 7 years. I usually go there for a cut, dye with highlights or low lights, as well as a style. Depending on what I am getting done, this could be a 4 hour thing, BUT... I usually turn it into an all day thing with my mom at the spa on the weekend and we walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I can actually go in there and tell her that I am sick of my hair, do whatever you want, and never leave feeling like I wasted my money. A. has a great personality that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She usually starts off with your cut, then does the dye, and then my favorite part... THE WASH!!! The head massage makes you melt in the seat and nearly fall asleep. The style I think is the saddest part, for the simple fact that you know when she is done, the pampering is over and you actually have to leave. I recommend giving Signal Hill Centre's Angles Hair and Aesthetics a chance. I don't think you would regret it.

"Overpriced Bad Haircut"
by Nora (from Calgary) May 2007 - I had my haircut with Leah at McKenzie Towne Angles Salon. She gave me the impression she was a junior stylist with her unfriendly disposition and unprofessional manner with my hair. I was charged $58 for 5 minute wash, 5 minute cut, and 5 minute dry. If I wanted my hair to look like it was cut by uninterested, unmotivated hairstylist I would paid $20 to Supercuts. That's how much this cut was worth.

"No Respect For Time"
by Sabrina (from Calgary) February 2007 - I made an appointment with Cindy at the Brentwood Angles thinking that I could go in and get a haircut in a reasonable amount of time. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told she was just "finishing up" with a another client. I thought that meant I'd have to wait maybe 5 or 10 minutes, which was fine with me. Well, 2 magazines later, I realized 30 minutes had past and I had finally had enough of waiting. What is the point of having an appointment if they're going to be that late! They might as well be one of those salons that don't take appointments and cut hair on a first come, first serve basis. I asked how much longer it would be and they said she's "just finishing up." I wasn't going to fall for that line again and decided to leave. Perhaps, if they had been honest right at the beginning about how long it would take, I would have stuck around or maybe if one of the five stylists lounging around and chatting had offered to cut my hair instead, this salon could have kept my business. I don't appreciate having to waste an afternoon sitting around a salon reading trashy magazines and listening to bad dance music. Overall, I got the impression that customer service is not a priority at this salon. I'll be taking my hair and money to salon that will respect my time.
