February 2008 - I came into this place at this place on Feb.1st, and had a great time looking at the wide selection of frames they have. The 2 ladies working there at the time were both very friendly and helped me pick out these killer frames. They also have their own blog, where they update any kind of news which is really cool imo.

March 2007 - Looking for new eyeglasses can be either a time-consuming hassle or an absolute fun time! The Brass Monocle was the latter. I visited 6 optical stores looking for new frames and I found that the staff at the Brass Monocle knew what they were doing the best out of all of them. Gary (the owner) was first to assist me, and the first pair he picked for me looked awesome. Right then I knew I was in the right place! Then another staff member, Monica, helped me too. I tried on more pairs that they picked out for me. Every pair was really stylish, suited my face and skin tone, and I wish I could have bought all of them. I narrowed it down to two pairs, and they let me put them on hold for 2 days until I could bring my husband in to help me make a final decision. There was no pressure to buy them when I came in to try them on again. Monica was so friendly and very honest in helping me choose glasses that looked the best on me. The prices are reasonable here compared to most optical stores I visited. The service was awesome! If you stop in, ask for Monica to help you! I will recommend The Brass Monocle to everyone!

October 2006 - Visited the store for repair of 2 frames. Greeted by a lovely gal who was extremly pleasant and helpful. She tightened this and straighted that and replaced something or other and returned the glasses to me as good as new. What a delightful experience. I will certainly recommend the shop to others and will purchase my next glasses there. I am sorry that I didn't get this ladys name but she has white frame glasses . Sincerely Phil H

June 2006 - I can't remember if this was the exact time I visited brass monocle. I did buy from them a few years back and the frames they recommended for me were awesome and so unique.
I would have picked ones I thought suit me, but the ones the worker over there picked matched me really well.
I've had my frames for a few years. Every time I visited there to readjust my glasses (not very often), the service was excellent.
Keep up the good work, brass monocle!!
Love their unique looking frames!

May 2005 - Like the other two reviewers, I would comment on the service here -- but I've never received any. I was looking for new glasses a while back and went into this store a couple of times but despite the store being empty, the person working never approached me or even said a single word to me, except for one word answers in response to my questions. I am a fairly clean cut person in my 20s -- not that it matters because I should receive service regardless. Anyway, if they don't want to take my money, that's fine with me!
