October 2006 - Calgary's Chinatown is large, with more on offer than you might expect at first glance. There are a ton of restaurants here, most of them with a long history in the area. There are a few malls that you may miss, so if you haven't been before, explore. My favourites here include Silver Dragon, and a little shop with a post office on Centre Street with teapots in the window. There's a lot of beautiful plates and bowls as well as paper and art supplies.
