March 2007 - We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while we were in Calgary. The room was clean but was nothing special. The amenities - soap and shampoo were scarce - one of each for 3 people in the room. The continental breakfast was a joke - 3 dried muffins, coffee, and peach drink. Needless to say, we didn't eat there. The pool is outside and was not available when we stayed.
The front desk staff was very helpful. They gave us a Denny's coupon when we checked in - which we used. Also, various businesses close by offer discounts if you show your room key.
For $100/night, I expected a bit more. For an extra $40/night, there is a lot more luxurious accomodation available.
