June 2007 - My wife and I stayed AT THE Lions Park B&B for 2 nights.
We found the location to be very convenient to downtown Calgary and only a short walk to local rapid transit system which has you downtown in minutes.
The selection for breakfast was the same each morning and the quality was average.
The room was small but comfortable( the garden room ).
What we found most upsetting was the attitude of the owner. She told you what time you were to be at the table and which chair at the table you were to sit in. She brought a selection of fruit on a large plate for each person and then she went back to the kitchen to cook up eggs or pancakes. I was cutting up my fruit and starting to eat them when she brought out my omlette on a smaller plate. Rather than placing the plate to the side of my fruit plate, she pushed my fruit aside with the smaller plate to position it on the larger plate.
We have stayed in many B&B's over the last 25 years and have enjoyed visiting with the owners and guests. This visit unfortunately was a negative one.
