| "should be called rv park" |

by Teri (from Medicine Hat, AB) August 2007 - as a regular camper, the name of this place is deceiving. rv park is accurate, not "campground". holiday units are packed in so tight I could hear the neighbor snore while I was inside our camper with doors & windows closed, and our grass space was tiny and shared, and as we didn't know them , our meal times were uncomfortable as others watched us eating. the trees in the pictures only outline the outside of the park, no privacy for the sites. being packed in so tight we could not exit as instructed, so we had to back out of our site (our unit is only 23 feet), and thankfully the people behind us were away, otherwise we would have had to get someone to move a vehicle to get out at all. guests must park at the main gate, so if they are bringing anything, be prepared to carry it, a bit difficult for my senior mother bringing dinner contributions!! we will not return as there are much better places to visit that are also much cheaper ($41.00/night for full hook ups). also, in our experiences, the term "campground" always includes fire pits.

| "not the best but servicable" |

by Sandra & Steve (from Echo Bay Ontario Canada) August 2007 - This was a try to fit your camper if you can, type of campground.. Pool was closed for three days because of contamination of some sort????... we were cramed in two sharing a lot...The Lots were very very small. not a good idea if you have a big rig, and if you don't know your neighbour and if you have dogs... NOT all dogs get along!! Picnic tables on grass but the grass portion was on a hill so you couldn't use it if you tried... there was a place to walk your dogs, but you couldn't find how to get to it.. so we had to cross tenters lots, sorryguys.... nature trails very nice for walking the dog I found less hastle but the owners didn't want the dogs anywhere near lots, just on dog walk where we really tried to comply but the nature walks were much more suited for the dogs.. ... grounds were clean and neat garbage was picked up every day that was a plus...
The mens washroom simply terriable not clean at all filthy showers were also filty never cleaned in the 14 days were were there at least on the first level where we were parked....Second level washrooms not clean eaither some toilets need repair,, ready to fall off its moorings so to speak.. womens washrooms were fairly clean ... laundry room needed a cleaning walls spiderwebs dust floors dirty but the washing machiens and dryers were at least clean... go fig. Cost was a bit high 25 cents for 5 min dryer... wouldn't want a large load one could go broke doing laundry cost for wash was $2.25 20 min wash. Cost of the stay for 7 days was well over $300.00 at $43.68 per night plus they made us re-register on the 7th day(we stayed for a total of 14 days).. started asking all the questions over again and told them to look at our registeration card already made out..... daugh!!! that was just plain silly..
