May 2007 - A group of us went to the Comedy Cave this past weekend and had a great time. I like how the venue is smaller than Yuk Yuk's and that it costs less than half of what you pay to go to Yuk Yuk's. Although the club has a kind of makeshift feel and there is just one server for the entire club, we enjoyed ourselves. There were four or five comedians, and the majority of them were quite funny... especially the headliner. One of them was sooo horrible though, it was very uncomfortable. Overall, it was an enjoyable night and I think we'll go back. The only downfall is that they didn't have pints... just bottles.

June 2005 - I got free tickets a few years back and went to a show here with friends. It literally looks like a cave inside -- dark, dank and smoky. I think we went on amateur night. Some of the comedians were good, but a few were completely not funny and even offensive (and I have a pretty good sense of humour.) My advice? Don't take your grandparents or born-again Christian cousins, but it can be fun with the right people.
