July 2008 - I first found out about Caffe Artigiano when visiting Vancouver, where this Italian coffeehouse is based. The Calgary location continues the tradition of serving premium coffee and espresso. My favorite drink is the Americano misto-just the right amount of milk infused with strong espresso, brilliant. The decor is modern and European with patio seating available. It's tucked inside Centrium Place on 6th Avenue and can be reached via 4th Street-look for their logo outside. The service is fast and efficient and they top your latte with a nice little frothy foam design, usually a heart, leaf or freestyle design. I've tried their sandwiches and baked goods, which are tasty, but very expensive. Stick with the coffee.

July 2008 - Caffe Artigiano in downtown Calgary has an Italian ambiance to it, not tacky but a nice European vibe to it. Unlike the other popular coffee spots that serve espresso in a total North American setting. Service was friendly and efficient. A great spot for coffee or tea.
