January 2009 - If you plan on visiting the Saddledome in the near future you MUST venture upstairs to the Saddleroom Restaurant. Four Star Restaurant with an excellent view of events and opened 2 hours prior to most events.
I had the Charbroiled Alberta "AAA" New York Steak and my friend had the Seafood Fettuccine. The Steak was mouth watering right up to the last bite, served with whiskey and morel mushroom sauce. It was a busy environment, as are most evenings at the dome, but our server was on top of everything and the kitchen did a great job on preparing our food promptly. Even without reservations the hostess had us in the restaurant within about a 5-10 minute wait. Well managed establishment that I highly recommend.
The light setting is dimmed in the restaurant and you could tell that they really try to put that extra effort into making a good dining experience. An excellent way to start any great evening at the Saddledome!!!
