July 2007 - This is my favourite place in Calgary to bust some dance moves . It might be one of the last bars that is not pretentious in this town. Rob Faust spins a wicked mix of old school funk with newer music on Saturday nights. The bartenders are friendly and they do their best to keep an eye on who is next so you don't end up waiting forever for a drink. A line-up is not that common but even if there is one you usually don't have to wait too long. And the best part of all... there is no cover or dress code! Bamboo is a great bar and I hope they can keep it that way.
