| "Stroller Issues" |

August 2008 - Okay, Market Mall is a nice shopping mall. After recent renovations, they have a great selection of stores and all on one level. My only beef is this mall seems to be a favorite with parents and bringing their children. Maybe it's because they have a play area for kids or just the demographics of the area. Either way, every time I go this place is packed with screaming kids and probably most annoying, strollers. I find it frustrating when trying to walk around a store, especially in a smaller space (i.e. H&M), when there are several strollers blocking aisles, bumping into me, etc. Many stores don't allow shopping carts so perhaps this needs to extend to strollers, especially smaller stores. Or perhaps, some of the parents need to be more courteous too. Maybe malls should have family hours, specifically targeted for shopping with children? I guess some patience and courtesy on my part is needed too. The best time to shop and avoid the crowds in general is during the weekdays in the evenings.

July 2008 - Market Mall has always been a great mall for shopping. They have a ton of stores for almost every product, although most are obviously clothing. However, due to it's recent renovation, Market Mall is better than ever before. They added a lot of new stores, that compliment the already existing ones. Market Mall also has a very nice environment, unlike Chinook Centre it does not feel intimidating or rushed, but rather offers a casual, friendly atmosphere.

July 2008 - I was glad to read that Market Mall got good reviews. I honestly think Market Mall is best mall in Calgary. I find they have a more diverse selection of shops than Chinook and a better layout. The food court has a good range of restaurants as well. The mall even has a Safeway in it, which is convenient. If wanting to shop while in Calgary, Market Mall is the place to be.

December 2007 - I much prefer independent boutiques and districts like Kensington for shopping over big suburban shopping malls but Market Mall seems to be the best of the latter category.
The selection of shops - it pretty much as every chain store you might be after - and the general lack of crowds and craziness - even in pre-holiday times like December - easily make this Calgary's best mall. If you have to mall it, Market Mall it!

October 2007 - I have had more shopping luck at this stylish mall in one short afternoon than I have in many long afternoons at Chinook. It offers many of the same stores, but they somehow seem better set up to highlight the products, and I think the selection at the Market Mall stores is better. OK, it doesn't have a movie theatre but who has time for movies when you're having such success shopping! Instead of feeling exhausted and slightly grumpy like I usually do when leaving Chinook, leaving Market Mall I felt like I had just made an exciting discovery and couldn't wait to get home to have another look at my new stuff.

October 2007 - Market Mall is my favorite Calgary mall. It is nicely laid out with so many shops to choose from. I never get tired of going there. I love it! I just wish I had more time for shopping.

| "Beats Chinook any day!" |

October 2007 - I also think that Market Mall is Calgary's best mall! It doesn't get overly crowded (not even on a Friday night) and it has a great selection of stores. I live in the northeast but it's still worth the drive compared to Calgary's other malls. If you're visiting Calgary, don't get sucked in to going to Chinook, and go to Market instead!
