"Alright"
by Claire (from Calgary, Alberta)
March 2008 - Northland Shopping Centre is an alright mall depending on what you are looking for. It isn't very big and the few shops it has are mainly home decor and electronics. It has a very 'dead' atmosphere as there are barely any people visiting this mall. Most people that do visit Northland are going for the Gold's Gym, Walmart, Future Shop or Best Buy, other then that there isn't much else.

"Great for Furniture"
by Cherry (from Calgary)
November 2007 - This mall is great for shopping for furniture and home decor items since it has stores like La-Z-Boy Furniture and Home Outfitters. The mall is a bit on the small side and you can walk around it pretty quickly. I would not recommend it for clothes shopping since they don't have the variety that Market Mall has. All in all though, it's great for shopping for everything but fashion.

"Furnishings at your fingertips"
by Joy (from Calgary)
November 2007 - For electronics or housewares, this small mall near Dalhousie station is a good place to start. It isn't very big but it has a couple of electronic stores (Best Buy and Future Shop) and several home furnishing stores (La-Z-Boy, Home Outfitters, Designer Depot, Kincaid Home Furnishings, Walmart - if you dare) which means you don't have to enter IKEAland for a laundry basket and some filing supplies.
