| "Great skating" |

October 2007 - I took my cousin (who isn't from Canada and has never been skating) to the oval for her first skating experience and she loved it. She also enjoyed the fact that she was skating on a rink that was used for the Olympics. I've been skating to the oval a few times, and they've all been great experiences. It's incredibly cheap and tons of fun (although there's nothing fun about the rental skates). I also like watching the odd speed skater who practices during the public skating hours. But if you don't have your own pair of skates, make sure you go early during the public hours because I hear they can run out of the rentals.
