| "BY FAR THE BEST" |

August 2007 - I have been going to Bates Bar J for eight years and I had a fantastic time every time that I went. My first year I was a little nervous because it was my first time away from home but it was such a welcoming and fun environment that before I knew it the week was over and I couldn't wait to go back. that first year was when I was eight and I am now sixteen and I am still looking forward to my return to bates. The relaxed atmosphere of the camp and the positive attitude of the counsellors makes Bates Bar J my only choice for summer camp.

July 2007 - My 8 year-old son camped here for his first camping experience, and it was a disappointment.
