August 2007 - I stayed at the Varscona Hotel on Whyte while attending a two day work conference. Right away I was impressed by the prompt valet service and my experiences at the hotel only got better. I was put in a King Size Deluxe Room which was quite roomy with, most importantly, the best hotel bed that I have ever slept in. It was a King size which meant there was plenty of room and it was so incredibly soft. It also came with lots of big fluffy pillows which was amazing because hotels often skip out on those. While the bathroom was a little bit dark because of not enough lights the whole hotel room was very clean. It also came with lots of little services to look after which was great because after a day at a conference a little special treatment is a great way to end the day. Tuck down services consist of milk and cookies being delivered to your room and there are cd's at the front desk for your cd players alarm clock. There is also a Second Cup located in the front lobby and the morning paper is delivered to your door. This is a great hotel to stay at while away on business!
