by Karissa (from Sylvan Lake) July 2008 - This hotel is in a pretty good location. There are many resteruants/fast food places to pick from close by. The lobby was very clean and open. It seemed pretty quiet and relaxed. They do have a little store off the lobby. We stayed on the second floor which was nice. There was a ice and pop machine on the floor. As for our room, very old looking it had a brick wall. Very small with 2 double beds. The beds were fine to sleep in. I love there big puffy pillows. The rooms were fairly clean besides the point of making coffee in the morning. I had went to pull out the pot to fill with water and someone in the room before us had decided to use it as a salad bowl. The cleaning people had missed it. It was slimey lettuce with salad dressing left in it not even remotely able to use it. At that time we then decided to leave and go somewhere else for coffee and breakfast. We mentioned it to the lady at the front desk and she said "sorry about that". They do have a pool but not very big, there is no hot tub. I felt the price was a bit high for what we got. I would not recommend this hotel.

by Kamila (from Calgary) September 2007 - Hhmmmm, I’m not sure where to start here….
The bathrooms are small and the room just seems really old and dingy. The beds are really hard and uncomfortable ( I guess it really depends on what kind of mattress and pillows one likes). The rooms also have mini fridges and they are awesome since there is a SuperStore right across the street.
There is also a large selection of restaurants to choose from around the area along with other services so there is a lot to do for everyone. They also have a restaurant in the hotel that serves some tasty food.
The staff is ok but they don’t seem to really care about much. They just check you in and out and then they seem happy to have you out of their hair. I’m sure not all of them are like that ( I hope) but that is what I experienced.
To be honest though I would not go there if the company I work for didn’t put me up there nor would I recommend there hotel.
