| "dirty and smoky" |

March 2008 - i arrived at the ramada inn from out of province. immediately upon entering i noticed the foyer was very run down. the front desk staff was courteous and helpful. the rooms were very very dirty. i called down and asked for new comforters and blankets. ours were smelly and stained. they brought new ones which were no better. the screen door on the balcony was ripped and dirty. the room rug was terrible. there were wrappers under the beds. in order to get to the swimming area you need to go through floor two. that is the smoking floor. serious smoky. so bad we covered our faces with our towels and then started coughing at the pool. water slides do not slide at all. no supervison. a child came right after my son and knocked him over in the water. we left within the hour. they were very cordial about out departing. no problem checking out. the manager was very concerned that we were having such a bad experience. the staff is good. the hotel needs a major overhaul. smoking is out of control, and it is extremely dirty and smelly. would not recommend unless you smoke and don't mind a noisy, smelly room. felt uncomfortable about security as well. not in a gret area.

February 2008 - Although the building of the hotel is older and is seeing wear, we enjoyed our stay there. Our kids enjoyed the waterpark immensely. The hot tub was closed at the time. The rooms were clean & nice. The beds were very comfortable. I would give it a 3/5.
