March 2008 - This Bistro is on the main level of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. We were greeted by the hostess who showed us to our seats immediately. We sat in the South East corner of the restaurant which offered floor to ceiling windows and a panoramic view of the river valley below. There was a quiet ambiance about the bistro, with soft lights and quiet classical music. It was about 7:30 pm when we went for dinner and we were some of the only guests there. The waiter came by just after we settled into our seats. The table was dressed in a very nice soft linen talbe cloth withmatching napkins. My fiancée and I ordered drinks and the waiter explained their specials and made some recommendations from the menu. I had the blackened Cajun chicken Caesar salad and my fiancée had the cheese cantolloni. The food was quick to arrive and we took our time eating. The waiter checked on us a few times, but left us alone to eat, which was nice. We sat facing the windows and enjoyed the view. The food was quite good. The pasta was not too heavy with cheeses, but had a lighter cream sauce. The chicken was very well seasoned. The bill was very reasonable. For our two meals and one drink each, the bill was $58.00. I would recommend this restaurant to couples as it is quite romantic and has a beautiful view.
