March 2007 - This is not the place to take a group of people. It was my parent's and my brother-in-law's birthday dinner. We were feeling festive when we arrived but found the atmosphere to be so subdued, it really put a downer on our mood. Our waiter was surly, to the point of rudeness and not attentive. He threw the menu at my daughter and my sister. They reserve the right to charge 18% gratuity for groups over 8. That meant at healthy $58 and change for our waiter and he wasn't worth a quarter of that. The food was good but way overpriced. My parents and husband had the pheasant and said it was basically tasteless and over-salted. My veg plate was good but very, very small for $27.00. I expect some value if I'm not eating an expensive cut of meat. My sister had the beef entree and commented that it wasn't done to her specifications. We skipped dessert we felt we were no longer welcome due to the fact that we didn't each order a first course. It seemed to be expected of us.Very disappointing, we were expecting so much more based on other internet reviews.
