May 2006 - I visited Doan's with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We were there fairly early in the day, and there was almost no one else in the restaurant.
Service was very quick and the food was some of the best Vietnamese I've had in a long time. The decor is a little cheesy, but as Vietnamese restaurants go it was much classier than the average.
The food was nicely spiced and fresh. Overall, I highly recommend Doan's and found it quite a step up from the usual quick and dirty Vietnamese you might typically encounter in a strip mall.
