August 2007 - We went to Il Pasticcio for a friend's birthday last week. It was very good. It was very busy, and there were about 12 of us, so service was a little slow, but understandably so. Great wine selection. The menu has quite a wide variety of dishes on it. Appetizers are in the $10 range, pasta's in the $15-16 range, and main dishes about $22-25. I tried the fusili with baby lobster and chicken in a garlic cream sauce. It was fantastic. The portions are huge and the food is tasty, fresh, and colorful. Our entire table was very satisfied with their choices, and half of us went home with left-overs. The atmosphere is unassuming and casual, with full bright windows. We will definitely be back when we are in the mood for pasta.
