September 2007 - We walked into the Lacombe Restaurant, planning to have a nice dinner before going to the theatre. It was totally dark, and without any staff available. It was 15 minutes past the evening opening time so this was quite strange. With a stroll through the restaurant to follow where the voices were coming from, we entered Bellamy's Late Night Lounge. The server said she had no idea why the restaurant wasn't open, but they served the same menu in a smoke-free atmosphere. She was perceptive in that she did not seat us in front of the tv football game, or we would have gone to the lounge in the first place! My entree was a sugar and spice salmon which sounded intriguing. It was tasty but nothing spectacular. What did appeal to me, though, was the tasteful presentation of the grilled vegetables, including asparagus. Mashed potatoes was a welcome change from a ton of fries one often is served!
