October 2007 - The Room At The Top (RATT) is a bar located on the top floor of the Student’s Union Building at the University of Edmonton. The venue features a very beautiful panoramic view of Edmonton. At night the view of the Edmonton city lights is amazing! The venue is not very classy and is in somewhat run-down condition, but it is the atmosphere and vibe of the bar that makes RATT a hot spot for U of A students. The food is average, serving classic pub-style food. The menu features hamburgers, fish and chips, fries, wraps and more. When I ate here for supper I had the veggie burger and garden salad. The veggie burger was good, but nothing special. The salad was also average. My meal cost about $10.00 (including a tip). The service is slow and during busy times there are never enough servers on duty.
