January 2008 - Went for dinner with my family to the Sherwood Park , AB location in the Best Western hotel. My husband and I both ordered steak dinners med-well as well as 1 litre of wine. My daughter ordered the ribs and a virgin billini. It took over 20 mins to get our drink order and our daughter didn't get her drink. When the wine arrived in the carafe it looked like alot less than 1 litre so I questioned the manager who then came to tell us they didn't make billini's (20 mins. later) and when she examined the carafe agreed it was less than 1/2 litre. She told our daughter she would make her a peach drink and return with more wine for us. A strawberry drink was brought to the table and we were then told they didn't have anymore of the wine. I guess they just figured we wouldn't notice in the first place! When our meals finally arrived remember we both ordered the same steak, mine was well done and my husbands was still bleeding! At this point we have been sitting waiting for about 45mins for our food. I asked for the manager again who confirmed the steaks were not cooked correctly. She offered to bring new ones, which we declined since we had already wasted an hour of our time for worse service than you get at a bad fast food joint. She said she would take our steaks off the bill. We will never go back or reccommend this place to anyone. We will be sure to share this experience with anyone who will listen. Went home hungry, angry and with $60.00 less in our pocket.
