| "excuses, excuses- unprofessional customer service" |
by Donna (from edmonton) August 2007 - Receiving a phone call at 9:05 (after leaving home - just about downtown) to say the 9:30 AM appt that was booked a number of days ago was double booked and would a later appt work? ( no choice here). A good discount woiuld be in order for having to wait around downtown for a couple of hours. Eveline Charles didn't offer one - just booked an appt. for 11:30. When asked to give a discount the spa said 20% would be the max. Appointment cancelled - hours wasted. Very unprofessional on their part.

| "Since when does the stylist argue with your preference?" |

She refused to cut my hair to the length I wanted it to be, instead telling me to "come back in 6 weeks" to get it re-cut because she "didn't want to give me a new hairline". It turned into a tug-of-war between what I wanted (and what was clearly displayed in pictures of the cut from three angles that I showed her) and what she seemed to like. I didn't make the follow-up appointment because I sure as heck am never going back.

| "Terrible service DO NOT GET ANYTHING HERE" |
by C S (from Edmonton) January 2006 - I purchased the "ultimate" - Ohh-la-la package for my girl friend ( over $500) . She went for her first visit and came home in tears. They had ruined her hair; and not just the look of it . IT WAS FALLING OUT. Some idiot mixed some chemicals wrong or something and tried to make a cue ball out of my babe. She was supposed to come back once the "reaction" had died down and they would fix it. She went back, but to no avail. The package only covered "junior" stylists. And "restyling" was a joke anyway. Her hair was literally breaking off at the roots and falling off. IT WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE PACKAGE they had. TOTAL BAIT and switch. Phone calls not returned, mail not responded to. I ended up even "serving" Eveline Charles, herself with a registered letter asking her to at least refund the money on the gift card. She didn't have the courtesy of responding to my letter. AND yet this disgrace to customer service wins all these marketing awards. Yea great marketing - TERRIBLE everything else. I hope they go bankrupt soon and save other guys the pain I went through thinking I was getting my girl something special, yet ruining her life for a year.
