June 2007 - Everyone goes on and on about Danny burgers from Big D Drive-In, so when they offered to take me... I decided I should try it out. I'm a big fan of burgers. I ordered poutine, a Danny burger and a milkshake. I am not sure why everyone loves Danny burgers so much because I wasn't into them. They are covered with a ketchup, relish, mustard kind of sauce - actually drenched in it - and the burger meat tastes like charcoal. I actually felt sick after eating it, but maybe that's the draw... you're getting a big goopy mess-of-a-burger. The place has been around for years, so don't base your decision solely on my opinion - go and try it yourself....then come on here and write a review. I'd love to see what other people think! The cool thing about this joint is that it's an old-fashioned drive-up restaurant where people come and serve you right in your car. I hadn't been to a place like that for a long long time.
