July 2008 - My friend and I went to Mama's for a late breakfast of Steak and Eggs. Now, the waitress that we had was great, no complaints there. However, the meal was awful, and I will never eat there again. I don't ask for much, but if I ask for homefries on the grill with onion; the homefries should not be frozen in the middle, with crunchy onions; please cook thoroughly. Toast should not "wiggle" anyone that would pick the bread out of the toaster the way that it was would have known that it wasn't toasted; it was warm bread, made soggy by the butter. The steak, while cooked the way I like it (pink in the middle), was dry and tasteless - this was the first time in about a year that I've had to use steak sauce to make the steak edible. General rule of thumb for most restaurants with regard to eggs, is if some one orders over easy/over medium, and the cook breaks a yolk, they start another egg for you, they don't give you what you didn't order. We also had to wait almost an hour for this awful meal, and the place was not busy.

April 2008 - How much longer will we have to wait for you to open in your new location on Brookside Drive? Across from the Brookside Mall next to M&M Meat Shop.
We can hardly wait to get in for another feed on nochos, wings and cold Alpine!!!
Had a look in the window the other day and the new pub looks fantastic.
Hope to see you all again soon.

June 2007 - We ordered three steaks for our table. I could handle the fact that the vegetables were cold, but the steaks tasted burnt and couldn't be eaten,
We will not be back there.

April 2007 - this is a gathering spot, for seniors, on most mornings. it's great for them to have a place to go for their coffee. my father is one of them. he just turned 86 and hardly misses a day. the staff is really good to all of the patrons and the food is very good. linda clark
