July 2007 - When we were recently visiting our family they insisted that we try Montana's out since it is a new chain to the area. I had been to Montana's Cookhouse in other cities, so pretty much knew what to expect and also what to order. My husband and I opted for two appetizers to share - the Four Cheese Spinach Dip and the Fireside Antojitos, as well as a Cobb Salad. From previous experience, we knew we enjoyed these items the most out of the entire menu and therefore enjoyed our meal.
However, several in our party chose the rotisserie chicken, which no one was overly impressed by. Others decided on the clubhouse, and once again, no one was raving about their food.
The atmosphere of this Montana's was just like any other location - memorabilia on the walls, a family-friendly feel and tablecloths that you can draw on with the provided crayons. It wasn't the best dining experience I've ever had, but since I had been to Montana's before, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed in the quality of the food. It tastes the same whether you're in New Brunswick or Alberta!
