August 2007 - We tented at Oak Bay. It was, by far, the worst campground I have ever stayed in. It was pricey and the facilities were disgusting. The outhouse near our site looked as if it hadn't been swept out since before last winter and there was no tp! We showered there too and that was a risk to our health - the water was salty and there was mold growing in the shower stalls. To top all that off, we paid for firewood (at $5) that was very wet and refused to burn.
My advice: keep driving - no matter how tired you are!
